Maya came to Iceland in March 2008 from kennel Bedarra, Sweden.
After 4 weeks in quarantine she was finally able to come to her new home, on the 26th of April 2008.
Maya has a lot of attitude and sure has a lot of energy and she knows how to keep us busy.
We are forever grateful to Marjut and Jouni at Bedarra Kennels for letting us have this stunning young girl, she sure is going to make us proud.
Maya is what we call a Labrador in the disguise of a Siberian Husky, she loves to please people and is very well behaved and has the most amazing temperament.
In 2009 Maya ranked the #3-5 Siberian Husky in Iceland and #12 over all breeds.
On the 27th of March 2011 Maya had her first litter. She was bred to the stunning MBIS RBISS ISCH HCH B-Casper Jr. of Doghouse Farm. She had 4 beautiful puppies, two of which have done excellent at shows, BIS C.I.B.* ISCH RW-13 Miðnætur Rum Tum Tugger (the youngest Siberian in Iceland to become a champion, the first Icelandic bred Siberian Husky male to become an International Champion and also the youngest Siberian to win Best In Show) and BBIS RW-13 Miðnætur Glamorouz Grizabella.
On the 15th of March 2014 Maya had her second and last litter. This time she was bred to a Canadian imported male that lives here in Iceland, MBPIS ISCH CANCH Wolfriver's Ice Thunder Kanuck. She had 6 beautiful puppies and we are very excited to see how they develop in the future as Kanuck's lines are new to our breeding program. We kept a girl (Miðnætur A Heart Full Of Love) and we also co-own a boy from this litter (Miðnætur Master Of The House).
