In 2011 we imported frozen semen from Katrina out of Zyon (BIS/BISS AUST GR CH Canyonlands Bourbon St (IID)) and as that didn’t quite work out as planned we decided to get a puppy from Katrina instead.
Sunny came to us early 2012. He is a very sweet boy of great quality.
He has a very nice pedigree with some very well known dogs & lines and we are looking forward seeing what he’ll produce.
Sunny’s dam is Lillie (Canyonlands Blue Bayou (IID)), she is Zyon’s litter sister.
Lillie is a producer of multi Grand Champions, Multi BIS and BISS winning offspring in Australia and the United States.
She’s the dam of Draven (BISS AM GR CH/BISS BIS AUST GR CH Canyonlands Blk Crusade).
Lillie is the daughter of Broker (BISS AMCH CANCH Highlander’s Go For Broke) who was awarded the AOM at the SHCA Nationals in 2009 and won BOB in 2007.
Sunny’s sire is Legend (AMCH CANCH Kimlan Kominik Inua Legend) and this was his first litter.
Legend is the grandson of BISS AMCH CANCH Innisfree Stockbroker.
We are forever grateful to Katrina Fisher at Canyonlands for the letting us have this lovely boy.
We are sure that Sunny will have a great influence in our breeding in the future.
Sunny had his first litter on the 24th of January 2013, he was bred to HCH HJCH Miðnætur Steaming Hot Aphrodite and they had 5 lovely puppies. One puppy from that litter (Son of a Gun for Bigfootprint) was exported to Hungary to Eva Varga at Big Footprint's Siberians as a gift for all the help she has given us through the years. At only 16 months of age Sunny Jr. became an Hungarian Champion, so he is now HCH HJCH Son of a Gun for Bigfootprint.
Sunny had his second litter, his first at Miðnætur Siberians, on the 18th of March 2014. This time he was bred to our stunning girl BBIS RW-13 Miðnætur Glamorouz Grizabella. They had 6 stunning puppies which we are proud to say are the best puppies we have had so far so of course we kept one girl (Miðnætur Dancing In My Dreams). One boy (BPIS RUSJCH Miðnætur Whatever You Need) was exported to Russia to Natalia Tarasenko at Antarana Siberians. We really do have high hopes for these puppies in the future.
