In 2008 we found a stunning young boy in Budapest, Hungary.
His name was Casper and he lived with Eva Varga at Big-Foot-Print’s Siberians.
We knew that we just had to have him as a part of our breeding program.
In September 2010 he finally came to Iceland as a guest for 1 year.
In March 2011 he had his first litter here with our sweet girl Bedarra Bambolina Bebe (Maya), 4 beautiful puppies, 1 boy and 3 girls. We co-owned one of the girls, BBIS RW-13 Miðnætur Glamorouz Grizabella (Amyra).
From that litter come BIS C.I.B.* ISCH RW-13 Miðnætur Rum Tum Tugger, he is the youngest Icelandic bred Siberian Husky in Iceland to become an Icelandic Champion, the first Icelandic bred Siberian Husky male to become an International Champion along with being the youngest Siberian to win Best In Show.
In September 2011 Casper had a litter with MBVIS C.I.B. ISCH Anyka Bootylicious Babe (Kira), 5 puppies, 3 boys and 2 girls. We co-owned a girl from that litter, Miðnætur It’s A Long Way To The Top (Alfa).
In the meantime Casper had two other litters in Iceland, he had 7 puppies with Múla Gola and 6 puppies with Hulduheims Mía.
Two Miðnætur puppies out of Casper have won Best Baby In Show, BBIS RW-13 Miðnætur Glamorouz Grizabella and BBIS Miðnætur Thunderstruck and one of our puppies out of Casper has won Best Puppy In Show, BPIS Miðnætur Bad Boy Boogie.
Casper won Best In Show at his first show in Iceland in November 2010, the first time ever a Siberian Husky wins that title in Iceland, he also gained his Iceland Champion title.
In August 2011 Casper won Best In Show again and should have gained his International Champion title (C.I.B.) but as he did not have an Icelandic registered owner he wasn't able to become an International Champion. He only needs one CACIB (out side of Hungary) to finish the title.
Casper went back to Hungary in September 2011.
Casper is an absolutely stunning dog and he will always have a special place in our hearts.
We just can't thank our dear friend Eva Varga enough for entrusting us with this special boy for a year. That is a year that we will never forget. We are forever grateful to Eva for all her help.
In 2010 Casper was ranked #1 Siberian Husky in Iceland according to the Icelandic Kennel Club, he also shares the #1 rank along with our Kira according to the Spitz Club and are therefore #4 - 6 ranked Spitz of the year.
In 2011 Casper was ranked #1 Siberian Husky in Iceland according to the Icelandic Kennel Club and the Icelandic Spitz Club. He was also ranked #1 Spitz in Iceland according to the Icelandic Spitz Club, one point ahead of Artemis, from our first litter.
